Hajan: militants vow attacks on army, ask public to stay away

A group of militants Wednesday publicly vowed attacks on police and army installations in Hajan.

“Militants appeared in Boun-Mohalla on Wednesday evening and made an announcement from a mosque that they were planning attacks on police and army installations and that local residents should exercise caution and stay away from these places,” sources told Kashmir Dispatch.

On Tuesday, militants carried out an attack on a police station and an adjacent army camp in the town with rocket propeled grenades and automatic fire.
