A Central Reserve Police Force officer was thrashed by his subordinates he allegedly denied permission to shift an ailing para military trooper — from his unit– the permission to be shifted to a local government hospital in Jammu and Kashmir, highly placed sources told Kashmir Dispatch on Sunday.
The commander of CRPF was thrashed by ‘angry troopers’ after their ailing colleague died, sources said.
The incident happened in South Kashmir’s Qaezgund, police sources confirmed, adding: troopers angry over the death of their colleague thrashed the company commander.
The police sources said that CRPF trooper– whose identity wasn’t known– died after he was allegedly denied permission by his company commander to see a doctor in Wanpoh area of Qazigund.
The deceased trooper was was posted at railway station in Wanpoh.
The CRPF wasn’t available for a comment.
