Joint Hurriyat issues protest programme in view of Burhan’s maiden anniversary

In view of the first anniversary of slain Hizb commander, Burhan Muzaffar Wani, the Joint Resistance Leadership Tuesday issued six days long protest programme.
According to the statement issued Joint Hurriyat Leadership including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has appealed people to observe complete shutdown on July 8.

Burhan Wani was killed on July 08, 2016 in a gunfight that raged between forces and militants in Kokerang area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The JRL also appealed people to visit the residences of martyrs in their respective areas on July 09.
The leaders appeal people to launch Kashmir awareness campaign on social media on July 11.
They also appealed people to observe complete shutdown on July 13.
