Life threat to Kashmir journalist: police register case

A day after personal assistant of ruling PDP youth leader Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra issued life threat to a south Kashmir journalist, police today registered a case in Pulwama district.

Arif Amin, the PA of Parra, had allegedly abused and issued life threat to Qayoom Khan, the Pulwama-Shopian stringer for CNN News18 and other Valley news outlets, over a bogus voters’ story. After threatening call, Khan fainted and was admitted in hospital.
